The 2024 Conference aims to build a vision of unity that recognizes all individuals as God's children, emphasizing the inclusion of people of color within Catholic church and school communities. It will focus on the concept of unity as a spiritual tapestry woven from diverse threads of faith, culture, and shared purpose. Speakers will address how their faith and the Holy Spirit have guided their vocational journeys, discuss expectations for living out this vision within both the domestic and universal church, and propose strategies for achieving perfect unity. Attendees will learn from the experiences of people of color and gain practical strategies to embody the belief that "we are all God's children."
The conference features our Keynote speaker and Mass Celebrant, His Eminence Wilton Cardinal Gregory. Featured Speakers include Rev. Anthony Bozeman, SSJ, Shannen Dee Williams, Deacon Art Miller, Daryl Grigsby, Sr. Chero Chuma, CSJP, DNP, Brian Greenfield and JoAnn Lopez.
This year's Conference will be hosted b St. Stephen the Martyr Church, 13055 SE 192nd Street, Renton, Washington 98058.

A Novena represents a collective or individual prayer period spanning nine days, weeks, or hours continuously. Its purpose is to commemorate significant events, seek specific blessings, or offer prayers for special intentions. Typically, these prayers are directed towards the intercession of a Saint or a particular virtue of Christ. The archetype of all Novenas is the nine-day period between Ascension and Pentecost, during which Mary and the apostles awaited the arrival of the Holy Spirit.
The Novena for the Spiritual Welfare of Diverse American Communities is a distinctive period of prayer where people worldwide invoke God's grace through the intercession of Venerable Father Augustus Tolton for the spiritual well-being of Diverse American Communities. It is recommended to observe this Novena during three opportune periods:
- Leading up to his Birth: March 23 to March 31
- Leading up to his Date of Ordination: April 15 to April 23
- Leading up to his Death: June 30 to July 8
